New Jersey High School Football - Shawnee gets by Cherokee
September 9, 2016: Medford, NJ 08088 The Shawnee Renegades football squad scored 16 points and restricted the visiting Cherokee Chiefs to 13 in the Renegades league victory on Friday.
The Renegades now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Allentown for a non-league battle on Friday, September 16. Shawnee will play a Redbirds squad coming off a 49-13 league win over West Windsor-Plainsboro North (Plainsboro, NJ). The Redbirds record now stands at 1-1.
Coming up next, the Chiefs play the Timber Creek Regional Chargers (Erial, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 16. Cherokee will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Chargers enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 54-28 league win over Delsea (Franklinville, NJ).
