Texas High School Basketball - Memorial nips Steele
November 20, 2021: Cibolo, TX 78108 Memorial Mustangs (Houston, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX), 49-48 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Memorial upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX) to encounter the Highlanders in a non-league test on Tuesday, November 23. The Highlanders go into the test with a record of 0-4. The Woodlands lost 47-44 in their recent non-league test against O'Connor (Helotes, TX)
The Knights now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Westlake for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 23. Steele will encounter a Chaparrals squad coming off a 44-43 non-league win over Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX). The Chaparrals record now stands at 3-4.
