Florida High School Basketball - West Broward tops Stranahan
January 3, 2022: Pembroke Pines, FL 33029 West Broward Bobcats (Pembroke Pines, FL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Stranahan Mighty Dragons (Fort Lauderdale, FL), 38-23 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, West Broward upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Coral Springs Charter (Coral Springs, FL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 7. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 6-6. Coral Springs Charter lost 64-47 in their recent league bout against American Heritage (Delray Beach, FL)
Next up, the Mighty Dragons play the Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes (Pompano Beach, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 5. Stranahan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Golden Tornadoes come into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 32-19 non-league win over Fort Lauderdale (Fort Lauderdale, FL).
