Las Plumas Thunderbirds (Oroville, CA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA), 30-16 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Las Plumas improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host University Prep (Redding, CA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, September 23. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-2. University Prep lost 20-8 in their recent non-league test against McKinleyville (McKinleyville, CA)

With the loss, Central Valley drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Falcons host Willows (Willows, CA) to confront the Honkers in a non-league test on Friday, September 30. The Honkers come into the test with a record of 3-0.
