California High School Football - Central overwhelms Sunnyside

September 2, 2016: Fresno, CA 93722

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Central Grizzlies (Fresno, CA) and the visiting Sunnyside Wildcats (Fresno, CA), observed Central's football squad bounce Sunnyside by a count of 56-15.

The Grizzlies now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league contest on Friday, September 9. Central will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 20-13 non-league win over Ridgeview (Bakersfield, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-0.

Next, the Wildcats confront the Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 8. Sunnyside will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Pioneers go into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 54-20 non-league loss to Tulare Western (Tulare, CA).
