In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Nimitz Cougars (Houston, TX) basketball squad edged the host La Porte Bulldogs (La Porte, TX), by a count of 59-53.

The Cougars (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Fort Bend Travis was tipped by Langham Creek (Houston, TX), 61-49, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Hargrave Falcons (Huffman, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 9. La Porte will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record.
