Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Elizabeth Cardinals (Elizabeth, CO), 17-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Discovery Canyon upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Thunder host Rampart (Colorado Springs, CO) to battle the Rams in a 4A Pikes Peak test on Tuesday, April 19. The Rams come into the test with a record of 4-9. Rampart lost 6-5 in their recent league test against Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO)

With the defeat, Elizabeth falls to 6-6 on the season. The Cardinals host Falcon (Falcon, CO) to battle the Falcons in a 4A/3A Colo Springs Metro North test on Wednesday, April 20. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 10-4. Falcon lost 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO)
