March 31, 2012: Louisville, KY 40212 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Monticello Trojans (Monticello, KY) and the host Portland Christian Eagles (Louisville, KY), saw Monticello's baseball squad knock off Portland Christian by a count of 9-4.
Coming up next, the Trojans play the Adair County Indians (Columbia, KY) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 3. Monticello will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record.
The Eagles now possess a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fern Creek for a non-league battle on Monday, April 2. Portland Christian will play a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Fairdale (Fairdale, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 5-3.
