The Highland Scots knocked off the visiting North Stars basketball squad by a margin of 53-40 in Thursday's league outing.

The Scots (13-6) will now prepare for their outing against Garces (Bakersfield, CA). The Rams go into the Southeast Yosemite outing with a 12-6 record. In their last outing, Garces topped Ridgeview (Bakersfield, CA), 53-48, in a non-league outing.

The Stars now own a 7-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Bakersfield for a Southeast Yosemite outing on Tuesday, January 24. North will clash with a Blades squad coming off a 72-51 league win over Foothill (Bakersfield, CA). The Blades record now stands at 8-12.
