Texas High School Basketball - Galena Park overwhelmed by Marshall
December 2, 2022: Galena Park, TX 77547 The Marshall Mavericks basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Galena Park Yellowjackets to 26 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Friday.
The Mavericks now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bryan for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Marshall will battle a Vikings team coming off a 56-52 non-league loss to College Park (The Woodlands, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 4-4.
The Yellowjackets (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sharpstown (Houston, TX). The Apollos come into the 5A Region III District 19 contest with a 3-4 record.
