New York High School Basketball - AuSable Valley overwhelms Saranac Lake
December 11, 2018: Clintonville, NY 12924 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the AuSable Valley Patriots (Clintonville, NY) and the visiting Saranac Lake Red Storm (Saranac Lake, NY), saw AuSable Valley's basketball squad wallop Saranac Lake by a tally of 49-28.
With the victory, AuSable Valley improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Ticonderoga (Ticonderoga, NY) to play the Sentinels in a Section 7 Champlain Valley II challenge on Tuesday, December 18. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Ticonderoga lost 74-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake George (Lake George, NY)
Next up, the Red Storm play the Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley II challenge, on Thursday, December 13. Saranac Lake will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 54-50 league loss to Northern Adirondack (Ellenburg Depot, NY).
