Illinois High School Basketball - Barrington overwhelms Round Lake
February 5, 2022: Round Lake, IL 60073 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL) and the host Round Lake Panthers (Round Lake, IL), saw Barrington's basketball squad wallop Round Lake by a tally of 79-40.
With the victory, Barrington improves its record to 21-4 on the campaign. The Fillies/Broncos travel to Palatine (Palatine, IL) to confront the Pirates in a Mid-Suburban - West challenge on Friday, February 11. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 19-9. Palatine won 52-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) in a Northern Lake County challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Round Lake will attempt to improve on its 1-21 season record. The Sequoits come into the challenge with a 7-16 record after their 41-39 non-league loss to Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL).
