Texas High School Basketball - Economedes overwhelms Juarez-Lincoln
December 18, 2018: La Joya, TX 78560 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Economedes Jaguars (Edinburg, TX) and the host Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX), saw Economedes's basketball squad wallop Juarez-Lincoln by a tally of 74-42.
With the victory, Economedes improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Donna North (Donna, TX) to play the Chiefs in a 6A Region IV District 31 challenge on Friday, December 21. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 0-10.
Next up, the Huskies play the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Raiders (Pharr, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 30 challenge, on Saturday, December 29. Juarez-Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 0-15 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 14-7 record after their 72-47 non-league win over Donna (Donna, TX).
