Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Tyner Academy Rams (Chattanooga, TN) and the visiting Austin-East Roadrunners (Knoxville, TN), saw Tyner Academy's basketball squad hold off Austin-East by a tally of 45-42.

With the victory, Tyner Academy improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Marion County (Jasper, TN) to confront the Warriors in a 2A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Roadrunners confront the Tennessee Vikings (Bristol, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Austin-East will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.
