Maryland High School Basketball - Kent County tops North East
December 18, 2023: Worton, MD 21678 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Kent County Trojans (Worton, MD) and the visiting North East Indians (North East, MD), saw Kent County's basketball squad knock off North East by a count of 53-41.
With the victory, Kent County upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Queen Anne's County (Centreville, MD) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 22. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Queen Anne's County won 75-51 in their recent league challenge against Kent County (Worton, MD)
Next up, the Indians play the Fallston Cougars (Fallston, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. North East will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 110-65 league loss to River Hill (Clarksville, MD).
