Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bald Eagle Area nips La Academia Charter
December 27, 2023: Wingate, PA 16823 Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles (Wingate, PA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting La Academia Charter (Lancaster, PA), 58-56 in a non-league test.
The Bald Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA). The Blue Devils go into the Laurel Highlands test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Bellwood-Antis was tipped by Tyrone (Tyrone, PA), 70-43, in a non-league test.
The now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. La Academia Charter will encounter a WolfPack squad coming off a 68-29 non-league loss to Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA). The WolfPack record now stands at 1-7.
