Louisiana High School Football - Opelousas gets by Port Allen
September 17, 2010: Opelousas, LA 70571 The Opelousas Tigers football squad scored 15 points and restricted the visiting Port Allen Pelicans to 14 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.
The Tigers now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northside for a 4A District 6 battle on Friday, September 24. Opelousas will play a Vikings squad coming off a 34-17 non-league win over Carencro (Lafayette, LA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-1.
Coming up next, the Pelicans play the Parkview Baptist Eagles (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 24. Port Allen will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 56-16 non-league win over Church Point (Church Point, LA).
