Iowa High School Basketball - Solon knocked off by Regina
January 21, 2012: Iowa City, IA 52245 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Regina Regals basketball team scored a good 61-46 triumph over the Solon Spartans.
In their next game, the Regals face the Tipton Tigers (Tipton, IA) in a Cedar Valley game, on Tuesday, January 24. Regina will attempt to move on its 12-2 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 3-8 record after their 61-47 non-league win over Northeast (Goose Lake, IA).
With the defeat, Solon moves to 6-7 on the year. The Spartans travel to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA) to face the Mustangs in a WAMAC - West game on Tuesday, January 24. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 11-4.
