Oregon High School Volleyball - Franklin tips Southridge
September 5, 2023: Portland, OR 97206 Franklin Quakers (Portland, OR) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Southridge Skyhawks (Beaverton, OR), 3-2 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Quakers clash with the Roosevelt Roughriders (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland Interscholastic match, on Thursday, September 7. Franklin will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Roughriders come into the match with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Benson Tech (Portland, OR).
With the loss, Southridge drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Skyhawks travel to Jesuit (Portland, OR) to clash with the Crusaders in a 6A Metro match on Thursday, September 7. The Crusaders come into the match with a record of 3-0. Jesuit won 3-0 in their recent league match against Westview (Portland, OR)
