The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) and the host North Catholic Trojans (Cranberry Township, PA), observed Mars's football squad edge North Catholic by a count of 17-14.

The Fightin' Planets now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Chartiers Valley for a non-league contest on Friday, November 3. Mars will encounter a Colts squad coming off a 41-31 league win over Ambridge (Ambridge, PA). The Colts record now stands at 3-7.
