Arizona High School Football - Willow Canyon knocked off by Valley Vista

September 30, 2022: Surprise, AZ 85374

Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ), 14-6 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Valley Vista improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Monsoon host Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Pioneers in a non-league test on Friday, October 7. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 3-1. Pinnacle won 45-10 in their recent non-league test against Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ)

With the loss, Willow Canyon drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Canyon View (Waddell, AZ) to meet the Jaguars in a 5A Northwest challenge on Friday, October 7. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Canyon View lost 36-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwest Christian (Phoenix, AZ)
