The LaGrange Grangers basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Central Lions to 39 in the Grangers league triumph on Friday.

The Grangers now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lithia Springs for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. LaGrange will meet a Lions team coming off a 56-42 league loss to Paulding County (Dallas, GA). The Lions record now stands at 5-9.

The Lions (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Troup County (LaGrange, GA). The Tigers enter the 6-AAA contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Troup County held off Shaw (Columbus, GA), 54-36, in a league bout.
