In Friday's league outing, the Alliance Bulldogs (Alliance, NE) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Gering Bulldogs (Gering, NE), by a count of 74-50.

The Bulldogs (12-3) will now prepare for their outing against Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD). The Bison go into the non-league outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Hot Springs was crushed by Hill City (Hill City, SD), 47-26, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now hold a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Gordon-Rushville for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 28. Gering will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 65-41 league win over Mitchell (Mitchell, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-3.
