Washington High School Basketball - Monroe succumbs to Edmonds-Woodway
January 6, 2022: Monroe, WA 98272 The Edmonds-Woodway Warriors thwarted the host Monroe Bearcats basketball team by a score of 59-39 in Thursday's league battle.
The Warriors now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arlington for a 2A/3A Wesco battle on Tuesday, January 11. Edmonds-Woodway will battle a Eagles team coming off a 57-47 league win over Stanwood (Stanwood, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-1.
The Bearcats (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Shorewood (Shoreline, WA). The Thunderbirds come into the 2A/3A Wesco battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Shorewood prevailed over Marysville-Pilchuck (Marysville, WA), 66-26, in a league battle.
