April 4, 2024: Laurel, MD 20707 Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting DuVal Tigers (Lanham, MD), 7-4 in a league battle.
The Spartans now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Douglass for a battle on Monday, April 8. Laurel will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 17-1 non-league loss to Flowers (Springdale, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Parkdale Panthers (Riverdale, MD) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 8. DuVal will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, MD).
