The Hitchcock County Falcons basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Cheylin Cougars to 34 in the Falcons non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Falcons now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wallace for a D2 District 10 contest on Friday, February 13. Hitchcock County will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 53-33 non-league win over McPherson County (Tryon, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-7.

The Cougars (6-9) will now prepare for their bout against Logan (Logan, KS). The Trojans come into the Western Kansas Liberty bout with a 9-8 record. In their last bout, Logan was knocked off by Smith Center (Smith Center, KS), 68-32, in a non-league bout.
