California High School Basketball - Kerman holds off Selma
December 3, 2021: Selma, CA 93662 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Kerman Lions (Kerman, CA) and the host Selma Bears (Selma, CA), saw Kerman's basketball squad hold off Selma by a tally of 43-42.
With the victory, Kerman improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Lions host Reedley (Reedley, CA) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 7. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Reedley lost 47-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Mendota (Mendota, CA)
Next up, the Bears confront the Sanger Apaches (Sanger, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 4. Selma will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Apaches come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 42-24 non-league win over Washington Union (Fresno, CA).
