St. Mary Prep Eaglets (Orchard Lake, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Huron Chiefs (New Boston, MI), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, St. Mary Prep upgrades its record to 42-1 on the season. The Eaglets travel to Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI) to battle the Lancers in a non-league test on Saturday, June 19. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 7-6. Lakeshore won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Gladwin (Gladwin, MI)

With the defeat, Huron falls to 26-7 on the season.
