North Carolina High School Basketball - Trinity Academy nips Holly Springs

January 12, 2019: Raleigh, NC 27613

Trinity Academy Tigers (Raleigh, NC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC), 61-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Trinity Academy upgrades its record to 14-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to Salem Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Vikings in a NCISAA Tri-TAC bout on Tuesday, January 15. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-9.

Next up, the Golden Hawks play the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) in a South Wake 4A bout, on Wednesday, January 23. Holly Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 13-3 season record.
