Mississippi High School Football - Choctaw Central drops to Union

In Friday's non-league game, the Union Yellowjackets (Union, MS) football team knocked off the visiting Choctaw Central Warriors (Philadelphia, MS), by a score of 61-33.

The Yellowjackets (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Enterprise (Enterprise, MS). The Bulldogs come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Enterprise toppled Lake (Lake, MS), 21-20, in a non-league game.

The Warriors now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cherokee for a non-league game on Friday, September 1. Choctaw Central will battle a Braves team coming off a 47-6 non-league win over Cosby (Cosby, TN). The Braves record now stands at 1-1.
