Texas High School Basketball - Winters ripped by Merkel
December 1, 2022: Merkel, TX 79536 The Merkel Badgers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Winters Blizzards to 36 in the Badgers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Badgers now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Graham for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Merkel will battle a Steers team coming off a 75-33 non-league loss to Seymour (Seymour, TX). The Steers record now stands at 2-3.
The Blizzards (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Seymour (Seymour, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Seymour triumphed over Graham (Graham, TX), 75-33, in a non-league contest.
