Illinois High School Basketball - St. Joseph-Ogden crushes Armstrong
December 13, 2017: St. Joseph, IL 61873 St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL), 68-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Joseph-Ogden upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Spartans host Longwood (Chicago, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Longwood lost 76-64 in their recent league bout against Corliss (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Trojans play the Cissna Park Timberwolves (Cissna Park, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Armstrong will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 47-36 non-league win over Oakwood (Fithian, IL).
