In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds football squad scored a good 31-8 victory over the Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds clash with the Lucas Cubs (Lucas, OH) in a Freelance match, on Friday, September 30. Lima Central Catholic will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Cubs enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 31-6 non-league loss to Crestview (Ashland, OH).
