February 8, 2023: Thompsonville, IL 62890 Thompsonville (Thompsonville, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sandoval Blackhawks (Sandoval, IL), 65-59 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Thompsonville upgrades its record to 10-15 on the season. The host Galatia (Galatia, IL) to clash with the Bearcats in a Greater Egyptian bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 6-14. Galatia won 66-59 in their recent non-league bout against Zeigler-Royalton (Zeigler, IL)
Next up, the Blackhawks clash with the Wayne City Indians (Wayne City, IL) in a Midland Trail bout, on Friday, February 10. Sandoval will attempt to upgrade on its 10-15 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 21-6 record after their 47-40 league win over Woodlawn (Woodlawn, IL).
