Missouri High School Basketball - Nixa tops California
January 24, 2024: California, MO 65018 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Nixa Eagles (Nixa, MO) and the host California Pintos (California, MO), saw Nixa's basketball squad knock off California by a tally of 53-34.
With the victory, Nixa improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Jefferson City (Jefferson City, MO) to play the Jays in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Jays come into the challenge with a record of 8-8. Jefferson City lost 43-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Lee's Summit West (Lee's Summit, MO)
Next up, the Pintos play the Battle Spartans (Columbia, MO) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, January 27. California will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 12-7 record after their 59-21 league win over Capital City (Jefferson City, MO).
