In Friday's non-league match, the host Three Rivers Bulldogs football squad scored a big 34-0 victory over the Falls City Beavers.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Nixon-Smiley Mustangs (Nixon, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 2. Three Rivers will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 48-27 non-league win over San Antonio Christian (San Antonio, TX).
