Alabama High School Football - Blount defeats Citronelle

In Friday's league match, the visiting Blount Leopards football squad scored a good 27-7 victory over the Citronelle Wildcats.

In their next game, the Leopards clash with the Saraland Spartans (Saraland, AL) in a 6A Region 1 match, on Friday, September 17. Blount will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 34-24 league win over Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL).

The Wildcats (1-2) will now prepare for their match against McGill-Toolen (Mobile, AL). The Yellowjackets enter the 6A Region 1 match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, McGill-Toolen ran past Gulf Shores (Gulf Shores, AL), 14-0, in a league match.
