Pennsylvania High School Basketball - State College tipped by Freedom

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Freedom Patriots basketball team scored a tight 42-39 triumph over the State College Little Lions.

In their next game, the Patriots meet the Allentown Central Catholic Vikings (Allentown, PA) in a Lehigh Valley match, on Thursday, January 2. Freedom will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 6-0 record after their 74-45 non-league win over St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT).

With the defeat, State College moves to 1-7 on the year. The Little lions host Loyalsock Township. (Williamsport, PA) to meet the Lancers in a non-league match on Saturday, December 28.
