Virginia High School Basketball - Regents nudges Blue Ridge Christian

December 4, 2021: Bridgewater, VA 22812

Regents Lions (Charlottesville, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Blue Ridge Christian Bears (Bridgewater, VA), 37-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Regents upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lions host Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, December 10. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Temple Christian won 37-19 in their recent non-league bout against United Christian Academy (Stanardsville, VA)

Next up, the Bears clash with the Grace Christian Warriors (Staunton, VA) in a Virginia Christian bout, on Tuesday, December 7. Blue Ridge Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 42-36 non-league win over Chelsea Academy (Front Royal, VA).
