Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Archbishop Carroll overwhelms St. Hubert Catholic for Girls
January 25, 2012: Radnor, PA 19087 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Archbishop Carroll Patriots (Radnor, PA) and the visiting St. Hubert Catholic for Girls (Philadelphia, PA), saw Archbishop Carroll's basketball squad trounce St. Hubert Catholic for Girls by a score of 49-19.
With the victory, Archbishop Carroll improves its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Patriots host St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ) to play the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Sunday, January 29. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. St. John-Vianney won 58-29 in their recent league challenge against Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ)
Next up, the play the Cardinal O'Hara Lions (Springfield, PA) in a Philadelphia Catholic challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. St. Hubert Catholic for Girls will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 15-2 record after their 67-32 league win over Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic (Drexel Hill, PA).
