Pelham Memorial Pelicans (Pelham, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Gorton Wolves (Yonkers, NY), 12-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Pelicans now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Harrison for a Section 1 II - D challenge on Tuesday, May 2. Pelham Memorial will face a Huskies squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Tappan Zee (Orangeburg, NY). The Huskies record now stands at 11-1.
