In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Meridian Mustangs football squad scored a big 41-0 victory over the Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA) in a Northwestern match, on Friday, September 22. Meridian will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 21-7 league win over Handley (Winchester, VA).
