Texas High School Football - Pewitt trounces De Kalb
October 23, 2009: De Kalb, TX 75559 In Friday's league match, the visiting Pewitt Brahmas football squad scored a big 47-6 victory over the De Kalb Bears.
In their next game, the Brahmas clash with the Clarksville Tigers (Clarksville, TX) in a 2A Region II District 12 match, on Friday, October 30. Pewitt will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 3-5 record after their 27-12 league loss to Hooks (Hooks, TX).
With the loss, De Kalb drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Redwater (Redwater, TX) to battle the Dragons in a 2A Region II District 12 test on Friday, October 30. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 4-4. Redwater won 49-12 in their recent league test against Rivercrest (Bogata, TX)
