South Carolina High School Soccer - King's Academy held off by Cheraw
April 16, 2018: Cheraw, SC 29520 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Cheraw Braves (Cheraw, SC) and the visiting King's Academy Lions (Florence, SC), saw Cheraw's soccer squad get by King's Academy by a margin of 3-2.
The Braves now sport a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wilson for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 18. Cheraw will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC). The Tigers record now stands at 2-13.
With the loss, King's Academy drops to 3-2 on the season. The Lions host Thomas Sumter Academy (Dalzell, SC) to encounter the Generals in a SCISA AA Region III test on Thursday, April 19. The Generals come into the test with a record of 8-4.
