Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Esko Eskomos (Esko, MN) and the visiting Mesabi East Giants (Aurora, MN), saw Esko's basketball squad wallop Mesabi East by a tally of 61-39.

With the victory, Esko improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Eskomos host Moose Lake/Willow River (Moose Lake, MN) to confront the Rebels in a AA Section 7 challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 5-10.

Next up, the Giants confront the International Falls Broncos (International Falls, MN) in a AA Section 7 challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Mesabi East will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 76-70 non-league loss to Cherry (Iron, MN).
