December 10, 2022: St. Ansgar, IA 50472 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lake Mills Bulldogs (Lake Mills, IA) and the host St. Ansgar Saints (St. Ansgar, IA), saw Lake Mills's basketball squad hold off St. Ansgar by a count of 42-35.
With the victory, Lake Mills upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Central Springs (Manly, IA) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 12. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Central Springs lost 52-44 in their recent league challenge against St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA)
Next up, the Saints play the Nashua-Plainfield Huskies (Nashua, IA) in a Corn Bowl challenge, on Monday, December 12. St. Ansgar will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 59-21 league win over Rockford (Rockford, IA).
