The Sweeny Bulldogs routed the host Austin Achieve Polar Bears basketball team by a final score of 79-42 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 9. Sweeny will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 5-8 record after their 61-37 non-league win over Rockdale (Rockdale, TX).
