Michigan High School Football - Mott held off by Port Huron Northern
October 6, 2023: Port Huron, MI 48060 Port Huron Northern Huskies (Port Huron, MI) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Mott Marauders (Warren, MI), 27-20 in a league test.
With the triumph, Port Huron Northern improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Eastpointe (Eastpointe, MI) to battle the Shamrocks in a Macomb Area - Gold test on Friday, October 13. The Shamrocks come into the test with a record of 1-6. Eastpointe lost 19-16 in their recent league test against Lake Shore (St. Clair Shores, MI)
With the loss, Mott drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Marauders host Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI) to battle the Big Reds in a non-league test on Friday, October 13. The Big Reds come into the test with a record of 5-2. Chippewa Valley won 45-12 in their recent league test against Romeo (Romeo, MI)
