West Virginia High School Basketball - Paden City overwhelmed by Clay-Battelle
December 12, 2022: Blacksville, WV 26521 The Clay-Battelle Cee Bees basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Paden City Wildcats to 25 in the Cee Bees league victory on Monday.
The Cee Bees now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cameron for a Ohio Valley AA contest on Tuesday, December 13. Clay-Battelle will battle a Dragons team coming off a 61-57 non-league win over Weir (Weirton, WV). The Dragons record now stands at 2-0.
The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wood County Christian (Williamstown, WV). The Wildcat come into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Wood County Christian was routed by Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV), 61-15, in a non-league contest.
