Minnesota High School Basketball - Paynesville can't hold off Yellow Medicine East
February 17, 2022: Granite Falls, MN 56241 The Yellow Medicine East Sting basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Paynesville Bulldogs to 53 in the Sting non-league victory on Thursday.
The Sting now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montevideo for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 22. Yellow Medicine East will battle a Thunderhawks team coming off a 65-62 non-league win over Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 19-3.
The Bulldogs (5-18) will now prepare for their contest against Holdingford (Holdingford, MN). The Huskers come into the non-league contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Holdingford edged Maple Lake (Maple Lake, MN), 53-42, in a non-league contest.
